Lisa J. Gruschcow is the senior rabbi of Temple Emanu-El Beth Shalom in Montreal. A Graduate of McGill University, a Rhodes Scholar at Oxford where she earned a master and doctoral degree, followed by ordination at the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in 2003. She is the author of Writing the Wayward Wife: Rabbinic Interpretations of Sotah and contributed to The Torah: A Women’s Commentary. She is the editor of The Sacred Encounter: Jewish Perspectives on Sexuality (2014).

Walter Jacob is President of the Abraham Geiger College in Berlin/Potsdam; Senior Scholar of Rodef Shalom Congregation, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; President of the Freehof Institute of Progressive Halakhah and the Associated American Jewish Museums. Author, editor, or translator of thirty-six books including Christianity through Jewish Eyes(1974), American Reform Responsa (1983), The Pittsburgh Platform in Retrospect (1985), Liberal Judaism and Halakhah(1988),The Second Book of the Bible: Exodus Interpreted by Benno Jacob (1992), Die Exegese hat das erste Wort (2002),Pursuing Peace Across the Alleghenies (2005), Hesed and Tzedakah – From the Bible to Modernity (2006).

Jason Rosenberg is the Rabbi of Congregation Beth Am in Tampa, Florida. After majoring in computer science at Brown University, he was a software engineer before studying for the rabbinate. He is a past chair of the Tampa Rabbinical Association, served on the board of the Central Conference of American Rabbis and the Hillel School of Tampa, and is currently on the board of the Tampa Jewish Federation.

Amy Scheinerman is the hospice rabbi in Howard Country, Maryland, and teaches in various venues. She serves on the board of the Central Conference of American Rabbis, is president of the Greater Carolinas Association of Rabbis., and immediate past president of the Baltimore Board of Rabbis. She is a member of the CCAR Responsa Committee and serves as editor of “Voices,” the Torah commentary column of the CCAR Newsletter.

Michael Stroh is the Executive Director of the Toronto Board of Rabbis, Rabbi Emeritus of Temple Har Zion in Thornhill, Ontario, past-president of Arzenu: International Federation of Reform and Progressive Religious Zionists and ARZA Canada. He has taught at the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion, the University of Waterloo, St. Michael’s College of the University of Toronto. He has written extensively on Reform Judaism.

Mark Washofsky is Professor of Rabbinics, Hebrew Union College – Jewish Institute of Religion in Cincinnati, Ohio. He is Chair of the Responsa Committee of the Central Conference of American Rabbis. He has published a number of studies in the field of Jewish law and legal theory. His books include Teshuvot for the Nineties (1997) and Jewish Living, A Guide to Contemporary Reform Practice (2000).
